Is the detail in the classic stainless steel metal invitations infilled with paint

No, when you etch away the surface you reveal the core metal colour, which is an off white colour.

Can you infill with paint

Yes, we can etch your design and then either infill black using our automated process or a colour of your choice by hand.

How is the colour print applied

This uses a process of electrophoretic deposition, mainly applying a lacquered coating and dyeing the colour to suit.

Are there any restrictions to the colour we choose

Yes, the colour is on stainless steel so will not be an exact pantone match.  It is also not possible to print white.

Metal thickness, why would I choose one thickness over another

The thicker the metal the stiffer the invitation, some suggest this is exhibits more quality.  However weight is a consideration, the thicker the invitation the heavier the invitation will be.  If you choose to have etched detail on both sides which clash the detail can only be lightly surface etched so it does not clash and etch through.
